Google urges developers to make “beautiful, powerful, successful” apps, allows devs to respond to user reviews in Play Store

with Google IO coming up soon, Google is focusing an extremely pinpointed light on their developers. The Android Developer Site has a brand new look to boot, and Google is encouraging developers to make their apps more beautiful, with more streamlined and simple interfaces. According to the Developer’s Blog:
“A developer’s tasks fall into three baskets: Designing, developing, and distributing. We’re trying to make developer.android.com’s organization reflect this reality, shepherding you through the app development life cycle, from start to finish.”
Google is also making life a little easier for developers by allowing them to respond to user reviews in the Play Store:
“…We’re adding the ability for Google Play developers to respond to reviews from the Google Play Android Developer Console. Developers can gather additional information, provide guidance, and - perhaps most importantly - let users know when their feature requests have been implemented.”
Any developers out there? Be sure to let us know what you think in the comments.
